About
Who We Are
Cake Done Right has been blowing the minds of party-goers everywhere with innovative cake designs since 2009. We specialize in the quirky, the bold, the dramatic, and unexpected sculpted and tiered cake designs which leave an impression seared into the brains of your guests unlike anything else they will ever remember, with kick-ass flavors to match. And yes, we do weddings!
Our Philosophy
We believe that above all else, cake is food, and its culinary destiny is to put a party in your mouth! All of our flavors are made from scratch, using all the good stuff and none of the fluff. The only coloring used in our vibrant designs remains on the outside of the cake, so those not inclined to partake in the Colorful Mouth Contest may remove the protective layer of sugar paste and still enjoy their dessert. Owner and Cake Ninja, Allison Stamm, personally develops each flavor on the menu, with inspiration from the cultural diversity of the company’s home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Meet the Cake Ninja
Before life as the Cake ninja, Allison worked as a stage manager for local community theatre companies, including the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Palo Alto Players, and Dragon Productions Theatre Company.
After falling in love with a new art form, sugar, she decided to attend pastry school at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco. She now owns and operates Cake Done Right with the entrepreneurial spirit that runs in her family. Her theatre roots inspire the bold, colorful, dramatic designs that are unique to Cake Done Right. Her absolute favorite comment is when someone says, “That’s a cake!?”
